Mussorie has Chic Chocolate (decent chocolates), the mall road - library and picture palace end. The police station in the middle of the mall road is a vibrant red.

Our hotel, the Park Plaza was a disappointment - in fact, I doubt there are any good hotels in Mussories except perhaps Jaypee and Fortune.

Mussorie is good for 48 hrs - thats it. Nothing else there except a lot of scenary and quiet roads on the Library end of the mall road (its the opposite on the picture palace end - lots of noise!)

Only take the national highways, nothing else - the other roads can be dangerous at night. NH 58 to NH 73A and you are there.

Delhi-Ghaziabad-NH 58 to Roorkee - take right at Chutmalpur to Dehradun - plow through the town's traffic (there is no other way) and drive up to Mussorie - enjoy!
